ABOUT THE ARTIST
CAIO AMON is a São Paulo based, classically trained/award winning composer who has been the musical director for a variety of artistic projects. CAIO AMON was initially educated at the Conservatory of Amsterdam where he studied contemporary techniques and the use of non-Western instrumentation. This led him to participate in collaborations with the Atlas Ensemble and Nieuw Ensemble.
CAIO AMON also studied sound engineering at the Musicians Institute of Los Angeles; providing him with the opportunity to work in sound design and music production for over eighty projects in film, television and the performing arts. Having also cultivated a passion for the amalgamation of sonic and visual arts, CAIO AMON began working for EROICA, producing “audiovisual and graphic content for musical and cultural businesses”.
To date, CAIO AMON has five Single/EPs and two albums in his online discography. With three Singles, one EP and one Album all dropping since the beginning of 2020, there is no questioning the fact that CAIO AMON is developing some serious momentum with the amount of original material that he has been able to produce over such a short period of time.

Our featured single, ‘SAFIRA’ by CAIO AMON, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! The single lasts two minutes and fifty-five seconds and sits at a steady 140bpm. The track commences with a six second introduction that combines atmospheric instrumentation with subtle percussion; setting the tone for the proceeding verse.
CAIO AMON’s vocal color is clean and emotive; seamlessly synchronising with the smooth melodic flow of the instrumental accompaniment. The main beat kicks in at around the 0:34 mark and resultantly drives the rhythmic intensity of the track. The catchy main hook is given additional depth from the inclusion of ambient harmonised vocal layers that sit perfectly in the mix; supporting the main vocal without detracting from its prominence. A stylistic shift occurs from around 1:23 to 2:03, providing just the right amount of diversification to ensure that the track is engaging from start to finish.
