ABOUT THE ARTIST
Captain Mike & The Totems are an up and coming band whose debut release ‘Double Single’, featuring the single ‘Far to Go’, is out now. The band was originally founded by Captain Mike, also known as Michael Goldberg, who initially made a name for himself on the Minneapolis music scene in the mid-nineties.
Having worked with a plethora of successful artists and toured across the states, Captain Mike teamed up with his three fellow bandmates to form their multi-talented band: Captain Mike – lead vocals, backing vocals, guitar, composer, Jonny Herchert – producer, engineer, guitar, keys and backing vocals, composer, Michael Waldman – bass, backing vocals, and David J Russ – drums and percussion.

The track commences with an introductory section that features a solo vocal and acoustic guitar. Subtle percussion kicks in at the 0:18 mark and resultantly drives the rhythmic intensity of the track. The addition of a foundational electric guitar, bass and organ at 0:33 form a rich sound that reflects Captain Mike & The Totems’ original sound.
