ABOUT THE ARTIST
Clark Aaron is an up and coming singer/songwriter who burst onto the streaming scene this year with his debut single. Even though this is Clark Aaron’s first release, he has a plethora of original songs that are in-line to drop now that he has begun to establish himself. With no background in music composition, Clark was inspired to pour his thoughts and emotions into lyricism and songwriting during the lockdown that was enforced as a result of the pandemic.
Figuring out what chords blended together, with no prior piano training, Clark used his natural musicianship to compose the music for his single. Aiming to inspire those who have had a difficult time during this lonely period, Clark Aaron produced this track to encourage others:
“What inspired me is the realisation that people are experiencing the pandemic lockdowns very differently from one another, and some people are having a way harder time than others because of their situation. There are plenty of people who live alone, work from home, or just don’t see other people that often, and many are struggling with their mental health and their sanity. It’s a pandemic of loneliness. With Christmas coming up, a time normally filled with friends and family, this song goes out to the ones who are alone, who are beginning to crack under the strain of social isolation. I feel ya.”
With a clear desire to uplift spirits during this difficult time, it’s hard to not get behind Clark Aaron. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of genres and artists, Clark combines a variety of compositional elements to form his authentic sound.
