ABOUT THE ARTIST
DownTown Mystic is a well established artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2011. Although he receives creative inspiration from a number of artists, DownTown Mystic amalgamates a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound. Having been compared to the likes of Tom Petty and Bruce Springsteen, DownTown Mystic’s passion for “old school” recording heavily influences his style. In 2019 Downtown Mystic signed a licensing deal with Last Man Music in the United Kingdom and went on to release his ‘The Wish’ EP before the 2020 album ‘Better Day’.
“I grew up listening to all these great records and their sound and style stayed with me.”
To date, DownTown Mystic has five albums and twelve singles/EPs in his online discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Think a Little Louder’, amassing almost twenty thousand streams, ‘One More Chance’, gathering over nineteen thousand four hundred streams, and ‘Turn Around and Go’, with over nineteen thousand streams. With numbers like that on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that DownTown Mystic has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.
