ABOUT THE ARTIST
Link&Chain is a Jamaican reggae group who burst onto the streaming scene in 2015. The group is comprised of four members; Dwight Campbell (Ta-Seti), Paul Williams (Congo Paul), Trevor Douglas (Kasha) and O’Neil Griffiths (IceCold). Link&Chain initially formed back in 1986 as a trio and have its three original members to this day, with the forth member joining in 2015.
The band’s name is a references to the “struggle of [their] ancestors” and the unity of “holding together as links on a chain”. Inspired by their Rastafarian faith, Link&Chain incorporate their beliefs into their lyricism and writing style to create music that “uplifts, educates and entertains”. Although they receive creative inspiration from a number of artists such as The Wailers, Wailing Souls and Steel Pulse, Link&Chain combines a variety of compositional elements to form their unique sound.

Having honed their talent as a group over the years, Link&Chain have thoroughly established themselves on the music scene, performing at a number of festivals over the years; Reggae SunSplash (Jamaica), Eastern Consciousness Western Consciousness (Jamaica), and Riverside Arts Festival (California).
Link&Chain have been releasing their original music since 1990 when they dropped their debut single, ‘African Struggle’, on Vinyl. Their following record, ‘New Day’, was produced by Lawrence “Jack Ruby” Lindo and was released by the RAS Records Label. In 1992, Link&Chain released the album ‘S.T.O.P’ which was produced by Phillip “Fatis” Burrell for RAS Records Label.
The group have one album, three singles and one EP in their Spotify discography. Some of their most popular tracks include the likes of ‘New Day Revisited’, ‘Jah Is Great’, and ‘Long Road’. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that Link&Chain have developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.
