ABOUT THE ARTIST
Maryon is an up and coming artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2017. Having always had a passion for music, the Calarasi born singer/songwriter found a way to take voice lessons without her parents knowledge when she was a teenager. By the time she was eighteen, Maryon’s family, seeing her natural affinity for singing, pushed her to continue pursuing her dream of having a career in the music industry.
Maryon moved to London to study languages at university but “secretly switched” to music, immersing herself in the London music scene and gaining the experience she needed to hone her own craft. Maryon has spent the last four years writing in London, LA and Paris; working with artists that include The Stereotypes, Pam Sheyne, Aaron Forbes, Martin Luke Brown, Adj Buffon, and Gez O’Connell. Although she receives creative inspiration from a number of artists such as Lorde, Kate Bush and Madonna, Maryon combines a variety of compositional elements to form her unique sound.
To date, Maryon has two singles in her online discography: ‘Hustler’, amassing almost three thousand four hundred streams since its recent release, and ‘You’, gathering over two hundred and eighty-three thousand streams. With almost five thousand regular monthly listeners on Spotify alone, there is no denying the fact that Maryon has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans.
