ABOUT THE ARTIST
Max Feinstein is a New Jersey-based artist dedicated to using his platform to promote Hemophilia awareness. Compelled by the pursuit of compelling sonic narrative and emotional release, Max Feinstein combines solid songcraft with a love of guitar riffs and ambient noise, spinning them into an immersive palette of sounds and colors. As though the likes of The Beatles, John Frusciante, and J Mascis attempted to make a Muse tribute album and got lost along the way.
To date, Max Feinstein has one album, one EP and four singles in his Spotify discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘I Can’t Remember Love’, ‘Spratz’, and ‘Drone’. In addition to his solo work, Max is also the lead guitarist of the indie rock band BWQ, frequent collaborator of singer/songwriter Brett Altman and active live/session musician.

In recognition of Bleeding Disorders Awareness month, Max Feinstein is rolling out a crowdfunding campaign in support of his newest album ‘Redefine’ on the Fractured Atlas platform. Committed to educating the general public about Hemophilia, Max has become an “impassioned speaker” within the Bleeding Disorders community over the past two years; speaking at community functions, galas, and to members of the Legislative Branch of the United States Government on matters related to Hemophilia.
The upcoming album, ‘Redefine’ was written by Max Feinstein during the COVID-19 pandemic while he received intensive physical therapy for the rehabilitation of his elbow after a decade of living with a diagnosis of severe “bone on bone” arthritis. The main mission behind the album is to change the public’s perspective on what life is like with a chronic condition and to “transcend the barrier” by showing how the overall human condition “is itself a chronic condition”.
“The album is a study of the human condition based on Feinstein’s experiences living with the rare bleeding disorder and put to a psychedelic hefty jangle.”
Max Feinstein’s upcoming album will send the listener into an auditory experience that is a “demonstration of growth and change through the effort required to implement it”. Based on the diverse compositional arrangements of Max Feinstein’s previous work; from the rhythmic percussion, foundational bass and catchy guitar riff that provide the perfect platform for the powerful vocal color of ‘I Can’t Remember Love’, the uplifting melodic progression and impressive guitar solo of ‘Spratz’, to the stylistic layering of harmonised backing vocals that form the immersive experience of ‘Drone’, his upcoming album is definitely set to please fans.
