ABOUT THE ARTIST
Shelby Lentz is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2016. Having always had a natural affinity for music, Shelby honed her talent since she was a child and was recognized at the age of fourteen; performing the National Anthem at local sporting venues and earning over one hundred thousand votes in Bob Kingsley's Future Star online competition. By fifteen, Shelby opened at The State Theater in Kalamazoo for Warner Music artist Frankie Ballard and around the same time, began collaborating with local songwriters for her original projects.
Since then, Shelby Lentz has opened for the likes of former American Idol finalist, Matt Giraud, international recording artist Joanne Shaw Taylor, and country act, Montgomery Gentry. Shelby also spent two years in Nashville, Tennessee attending Belmont University and working at the Grand Ole Opry.
After being diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease, Shelby began her own nonprofit called Champions for HD.
Although she receives creative inspiration from a number of styles, Shelby Lentz combines a variety of compositional elements to form her unique sound. To date, Shelby has two singles and one EP in her Spotify discography. Some of her most popular tracks include the likes of ‘Need You’, ‘Champion’ and ‘Mirror Mirror’. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that Shelby Lentz is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans.
