ABOUT THE ARTIST

Prophetboy is an up and coming independent artist who’s debut single dropped in September of this year. He began working on original music around three to four years ago but kept his work private until he recently made the decision to share it with the world. Initially, Prophetboy was unsure of whether or not he would begin releasing his original material. His manager, who happens to also be his mother, worked alongside Prophetboy to establish the appropriate branding and marketing plan to sufficiently promote his music. Prophetboy went on to release his first music video: ‘TBT’ and after receiving a positive response, he knew the time had come to drop his debut single ‘Stay Up’.

The track commences with a nineteen second introduction that combines subtle vocalisations with atmospheric instrumentation; setting the tone for the proceeding verse.

The bass/beat kick in at the 0:20 mark and resultantly increase the rhythmic intensity of the track. Prophetboy’s vocal color is clean and effortless; seamlessly synchronising with the flow of the instrumental accompaniment.
