ABOUT THE ARTIST
Chris Murphy, the man behind Seven Crows, is a multi-talented musician who specialises as a Violinist, Singer-Songwriter and Music Producer. Currently based in Santa Monica, Chris Murphy has composed music that spans across multiple genres; including Jazz, Folk, Irish, Bluegrass, Classical, Electronic, New Age, and World music.
Chris’ musical influences are derived from the likes of Irish Folk Music, Film Noir music, 70’s singer/songwriters, Jazz masters that include Miles Davis and Chet Baker, pre-war acoustic Blues legends such as Blind Willie and Robert Johnson, writers Charles Bukowski, Raymond Carver, and eclectic American Roots masters Ry Cooder, David Lindley, and David Grisman. Drawing from this vast collective of inspirational genres, musicians, composers and writers, Chris Murphy produces his own unique and authentic compositions that express his original talent.
