Kathy Sabol is a Pittsburgh-based songwriter whose music is deeply personal, weaving together themes of love, loss, and redemption. Her journey began in eighth grade when her parents gifted her a guitar, unknowingly setting her on a path of lifelong musical exploration. In those early years, she found solace in crafting heartfelt melodies in the quiet of her bedroom, using music as a means of self-expression. Though songwriting remained a private passion for much of her life, her desire to share her voice with a broader audience took shape after 2020, inspiring her to connect with other independent artists and push her creative boundaries.
In 2022, Kathy embarked on her most ambitious project yet, her debut album, The Great Divide, released in August 2024. A deeply reflective work, the album tells a story of relationship betrayal and the difficult journey toward healing and forgiveness. Drawing from personal experiences and the lives of those around her, Kathy creates music that resonates with raw emotion and sincerity.
