Alpha Pegasi is a rising band whose latest single, ‘Lightning Strikes’, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! Having played hundreds of shows, performed at numerous festivals, and recorded with multiple bands in New England, Mitch Melodia moved West and formed Alpha Pegasi.
Although he receives inspiration from a number of artists, from Phish, the Grateful Dead, and the Allman Brothers Band to Tame Impala, Beck, Arcade Fire, Talking Heads, and “the funkier side” of Khruangbin, Mitch Melodia combines a variety of compositional elements to form its unique and authentic sound that has been described as a “cohesive blend of danceable, sexy, and upbeat grooves coming together for a tasty audible stew”.
