A Michigan native turned California transplant, Harry Hochman embodies the timeless spirit of the iconic Laurel Canyon music scene. After a winding journey that took him from packing pickles and pouring metal castings in the Motor City to navigating the corridors of law in Los Angeles, Harry found solace in his passion for music.
Drawing upon an extraordinary life of diverse jobs, global travels, and a thirty-year legal career, Harry crafts songs rich in insight, humor, and relatability. In 2022, Harry collaborated with LA musician Chris Murphy for his highly anticipated debut album. Produced and arranged by Murphy, the album features an ensemble of distinguished musicians, such as guitarist Nate LaPointe, drummer Michael Jerome, and bassist Alex Balderston.
Contributions from Blues Traveler’s Chan Kinchla, vocal legend Herb Pedersen, and keyboard virtuoso Brian Auger elevate the album to a new level. Inside Out was masterfully mixed by veteran Kevin Jarvis at the Sonic Boom Room in Venice.
