ABOUT THE ARTIST
Justin Clancy, is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2017. Having always had a natural affinity for music, the Massachusetts based songwriter honed his craft over the years to become the artist that he is today.
Although he receives inspiration from a number of artists such as Stevie Wonder, Frank Ocean, Mac Miller, and BROCKHAMPTON, Justin Clancy combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique sound that has been described as Alternative Pop.
Drawing from his personal life experience in dealing with substance abuse and mental health issues, Justin channels his emotions through songwriting; “allowing him to speak universally about the importance of overcoming obstacles and discovering one’s true self”.
Thoroughly establishing himself on the music scene, Justin Clancy has accumulated millions of streams for his debut album, been nominated for five Boston music awards, been featured on the 2018 Warped Tour, and signed a record deal with Hitskope Records (Sony/The Orchard). Justin also founded a non-profit organization called New England Addiction Outreach which has encouraged “over 500 people to step into detox and rehabilitation”.
To date, Justin Clancy has one album and ten singles/EPs in his Spotify discography. Some of his most popular tracks include the likes of ‘The Bottom Line’, amassing eight hundred and ninety-one thousand streams, ‘TV Dinner’, gathering over two hundred and twenty-two thousand streams, and ‘IOU’, with more than fifty-six thousand streams.
