ABOUT THE ARTIST
Lil Squeaky is a rising artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2018. He began his journey into songwriting back in 2018, when he started releasing “very obscure meme rap music”. After “doubling down on the strange satirical music”, he began honing his craft and refining his songwriting talent from around 2020.
Lil Squeaky went on to produce for himself and others, discovering his unique style and experimenting with a variety of genres, including R&B, pop-rock, throwback pop tracks, old-school hip hop, electropop, and numerous styles of rap.
To date, Lil Squeaky has forty-four releases in his online discography. One of his most popular tracks, ‘Crocs on My Feet’, has amassed almost three thousand streams on Spotify alone. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that Lil Squeaky is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans who will be eager to hear his album ‘Art’.

Although ‘Art’ is “heavily inspired by old Lil B tracks”, Lil Squeaky showcases his songwriting talent with a diverse range of compositional/lyrical elements. The album was entirely self-produced and engineered by Lil Squeaky. The artist chose to bring on a number of other guest artists to contribute to the album, allowing them the freedom to get “creative over instrumentals and atmospheres”.
“Art is basically just me being myself for 50 minutes, and it’s one of the best representations of what my artistry is like. It’s an album that’s kind of all over the place and can go from very in-your-face to very laid back quickly, but I think that’s part of its appeal. It’s kinda messy because it’s so reliant on stream-of-consciousness ideas, and I’d love for listeners of all kinds to give it a chance and see which of those ideas resonate with them, and I’m sure they’ll all find something to come back to.”
The album consists of twelve tracks and lasts around fifty-four minutes of diverse and engaging original tracks; from the atmospheric soundscape, authentic lyricism, and catchy hook of ‘If This Ain’t It’, the ethereal instrumentation, powerful sub-bass, and crisp rap that sits perfectly in the mix of ‘Planes’, to the stylistic layering of multiple vocal elements for the chorus that contrast seamlessly with the featured artist’s contribution in ‘Darkness’.
