ABOUT THE ARTIST
Miss ANJ is a rising singer-songwriter and performing artist from Rotterdam with roots in Suriname, South America, who burst onto the music streaming scene in 2018. She receives inspiration from a number of genres, such as dancehall, reggae, RnB, soca, hip-hop, and afrobeats and combines a variety of compositional elements to form her unique and authentic sound.
Miss ANJ has cultivated a plethora of experience, performing at pop stages, festivals, and private occasions. She initially collaborated with a number of bands before making the decision to pursue a career as a solo artist. Now she can embrace her own creative freedom and expression.
To date, Miss ANJ has nine releases in her Spotify discography. One of her most popular releases, ‘Light up the place’, has amassed over five thousand streams on Spotify alone and reached number 1 in the radio charts in Suriname.
