ABOUT THE ARTIST
Nathan West, is a rising artist whose debut single, ‘Bus Stop’, is out October 22nd and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! Having grown up in the countryside of Redhills (Co. Cavan, Ireland), Nathan was surrounded by music, especially country music. Thanks to the influence of his grandmother and grandfather, Nathan West developed a love for music by listening to tapes in the car as he travelled around the country; leading him to pursue becoming a singer/songwriter.
After initially getting into performance throughout primary school, Nathan “fell out of love” with performing during secondary school when it was no longer considered “cool” by his peers. Nathan then went to college to study Social Care and found himself drawn to helping others which inspired him to begin writing lyrics. Having achieved an Honours Level Degree in June of 2021, Nathan began dedicating himself to songwriting during the lockdown and “fell back in love” with the writing process.
Now that he has honed his craft, Nathan West is set to release his debut single, ‘Bus Stop’, later this month; setting the stage for many more releases to follow. Although he receives inspiration from a number of artists such as Pink, Sam Smith, and Adele for their storytelling ability, Nathan West combines a variety of compositional and lyrical elements to form his unique and authentic sound. Despite having no prior releases, Nathan has already cultivated a good following on social media who will be eager to hear his debut single.
