Sarah Burton is an accomplished singer-songwriter known for her ability to weave together diverse musical styles, ranging from Americana to 90s-inspired rock. Following her 2023 garage-rock release 64 Magic Queens, Sarah is closing out 2024 with Swoonville USA, a genre-blending album that evokes the spirit of artists like Sheryl Crow, The Shins, and Margo Price. Her sound is further enriched by subtle nods to classic influences, such as the folky side of The Beatles.
The album was crafted with the help of renowned producer and engineer Jane Aurora, who also contributed as a performer. Swoonville USA features a band of Canadian music heavyweights, including Erik Nielsen and Matt Kelly of City and Color, alongside drummer Leon Power.
