The album consists of eleven tracks and lasts around thirty-one minutes. ‘Vibes for Miles’ was recorded at Silk City Music Factory in Manchester and was produced by Phil Mann. The list of featured contributors include: Ken Serio on drums, Lawrence V. White on bass, Mike Barrette on electric guitar, Phihl Mann on keyboards, guitar and trumpet, Chip Fenney on saxophone, Kala Farnham with vocals for ‘Whiskey Nights’, Bruce Gatewood on electric guitars, Jack McLoughlin on slide guitar, Jeff Chen on cello, and Matt Glasser on drums for ‘Gypsy Heart’.

Although ‘Vibes for Miles’ is technically grouped under one genre classification, each track delivers a diverse range of compositional elements that showcase Scott Waters’ songwriting talent; from the catchy hook and upbeat vibe of ‘Love Is Gonna Find You’, the foundational piano progression that amalgamates with the steady percussion, atmospheric strings and layered guitars to provide the perfect platform for the vocal line of ‘Never Stop Loving You’, to the melodic saxophone and dynamic diversity delivered by the impressive duet of ‘Whiskey Nights’.
