ABOUT THE ARTIST
Steve Williams is a well established artist who burst onto the streaming scene in 2020. Steve initially received notoriety as the lead guitarist in the 80’s pop group Wa Wa Nee; achieving Top 5 hits and ARIA Nominations in Australia, in addition to charting in Europe and the USA. After the band’s breakup, Steve worked with a number of local artists before relocating to Europe where he worked with the likes of Jon Lord from Deep Purple, Ray Parker Jr, and Real Life.
In 2005, Steve Williams returned to Australia and continued session and production work; including musical theatre and television appearances with The Choir Boys, Matt Finish and others. Steve then set up his own recording studio in Melbourne studio where he recorded is latest album. Although he receives inspiration from a number of genres, Steve Williams combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique and authentic sound.
To date, Steve Williams has one album and five singles in his online discography. One of his most popular releases, ‘Shelter Me’, has amassed almost twenty-two thousand streams since its recent release on Spotify alone. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that Steve Williams has developed a dedicated following of loyal fans who will be eager to hear his latest album.
