ABOUT THE ARTIST
The 30s is a rising Pop-Punk/Emo duo, consisting of Panda and Katerina, whose upcoming single, ‘Justice Partners’, along with their new EP, ‘Seasonal Depression’, is out December 30th and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms!
Having grown up in LA, Panda began his journey into music while playing bass in several middle school garage bands. By the time he was 16, Panda had played at most venues on the Sunset Strip, gaining a plethora of performance experience.
Toronto-born Katerina was first introduced to music by her dad who would play guitar in the living room. She cultivated her musical talent as a child by singing along to the likes of AC/DC and Led Zeppelin.
Although both halves of the duo had a natural affinity for music, the pressures of ‘normal’ society convinced them to pursue careers outside of the music industry with Panda becoming a Public Defender and Katerina a Math Teacher and Coach.
After the pair met online, they connected and realized that “entering their 30s didn't have to be the death sentence they'd always assumed it would be”, resulting in the formation of The 30s.
Although they receive inspiration from a number of styles, The 30s combine a variety of compositional elements to form their unique and authentic sound.
“We don’t necessarily want to quit our current lives, and our decision to make music together shouldn’t be seen as an expression of regret over the paths not followed. Rather, we know a lot of millennials like us used to think that it was too late to do something as crazy as joining a band in their 30s and release an album. We hope we can show people that The 30s can be fun as f**k!”
The 30s currently have one album and two singles in their Spotify discography. One of their most popular tracks, ‘Senseless’, has already amassed almost fourteen thousand streams on Spotify alone. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that The 30s is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans who will be eager to hear their upcoming single, ‘Justice Partners’ along with their new EP, ‘Seasonal Depression’.

‘Seasonal Depression’ is out December 30th and will be available to stream on all major streaming platforms! We took a look at the first single, ‘Justice Partners’, from the upcoming five-track EP to get a feel for what fans can look forward to. Check out the official music video for the single here!
The single lasts three and a half minutes and sits at 175 bpm. The track commences immediately with full instrumentation and the main vocal, setting the tone from the outset. The rhythmic percussion merges with the driven electric guitar and foundational bass to provide the perfect platform for the vocal.
