ABOUT THE ARTIST
Victor Lin is a rising artist whose single, ‘Rewind’, is out now and available to stream on all major streaming platforms! Having always had a natural affinity for music, the China-born songwriter and musician has honed his craft since he was a child, studying violin from the age of five, to become the artist that he is today.
Victor studied violin with the Canton Symphony Orchestra’s top violinist and earned China’s Highest Certificate of Merit for violin standards. After moving to the US when he was 17, Victor went on to play first violin in the UC Davis Symphony Orchestra in addition to joining the UC Davis Baroque Ensemble and other ensembles.
Victor also has an M.A. in Education and two certificates from Berklee College of Music in Logic Pro and Advanced General Music Studies. Since 2019, Victor has been a violinist for San Francisco Philharmonic and also founded his own world music ensemble, ViBo Simfani, which performs at various festivals and events.
Although he receives inspiration from a number of genres from Latin, House, and Bossa Nova to Blues and Rock, Victor Lin combines a variety of compositional elements to form his unique and authentic sound.
