ABOUT THE ARTIST
YayRaven is a rising artist who has been releasing her original material since early 2020. Having always had a natural affinity for music, the London based songwriter, composer, and multimedia technologist has been honing her craft since the young age of eight to become the artist that she is today. Although she receives inspiration from a number of genres such as Pop, RnB and EDM, YayRaven amalgamates a variety of compositional elements to form her unique sound.
YayRaven has thirty-six singles in her Spotify discography. One of her most popular tracks, ‘Hourglass’, has amassed almost four thousand streams on Spotify alone. With a growing number of followers and listeners, there is no denying the fact that YayRaven is developing a dedicated following of loyal fans who will be eager to hear her upcoming album.

Although ‘Welcome To My House’ is technically grouped under one genre classification, both of the tracks that we’ve had the chance to preview, ‘SONG AND DANCES’ and ‘SWEET TOOTH (Extended Version)’, deliver a diverse range of compositional elements that showcase YayRaven’s songwriting talent.
‘SONG AND DANCES’ lasts around three minutes and sits at 135bpm. The single commences with a verse that features a stylistic and emotive vocal color which flows seamlessly with the atmospheric vibe of the instrumentation. The beat kicks in at the thirty second mark and drives the overall intensity. The rhythmic percussion systemically drops out of the mix; delivering just the right amount of dynamic diversity to ensure that this track is engaging from start to finish.
