Meet Enrico Milano, better known as Mr. Dub, an Italian DJ who has been spinning records and captivating audiences since the late 1980s. Born in 1971, Enrico began his musical journey as a passionate collector of vinyl records, amassing a remarkable collection that now exceeds 4000, spanning genres like rock, disco, and a touch of jazz.
Mr. Dub rose to prominence in the early 1990s with his innovative "Rock and House" style disco nights, a unique blend that made waves in the Italian club scene. From 1987 to 1995, he was a staple in the vibrant nightlife of Sorrento, Positano, and the Amalfi Coast, taking club-goers on a sonic adventure through genres like acid house, ambient, techno, rave, trance, rock and roll, and revival music.
The moniker "Mr. Dub" is a nod to his love for the DUB versions of 80’s tracks, a passion that clearly reflects in his sets. Post-1995, Enrico shifted his focus to the realm of Information Technology, diving into programming languages such as Cobol, .net, PHP, and Java. Yet, his heart never strayed from music.
In 2021, Enrico Milano rekindled his relationship with music by merging his IT skills with his artistic flair. He acquired his first Digital Audio Workstation, crafting an electric disco music style uniquely his own. His creations are a harmonious blend of Electronic Dance Music, Chill Out, Funky, and Rock, showcasing his versatility and creativity.
