ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sado-Domestics is the creative duo formed by Boston-based multi-instrumentalists Chris Gleason (Los Goutos, Noise Floor Delirium) and Lucy Martinez (Lucy and the Dreamers). Known for their acoustic-driven fusion of folk, roots, and rock, the pair’s music stands out for its rich vocal harmonies and heartfelt, original songwriting. Their sound reflects an authentic blend of genres, making them a unique presence in the Americana and indie music scenes.

The band’s live performances are enhanced by the talents of seasoned musicians such as Alt-Country pioneer Jimmy Ryan on mandolin, Eric Royer on pedal steel, and Jim Gray on upright bass. This lineup adds depth and a dynamic range to Sado-Domestics’ already captivating sound, creating a live experience that brings their studio work to life.

With a discography that includes albums like Beach Day in Black and White (2023), Hey, Oaxaca (2020), and Two-Egg Scrambler (2013), Sado-Domestics continues to evolve while staying true to their roots. Their latest project, Camouflage: Stories by T.J. Gerlach, marks their fourth album together and highlights their growth as artists. Their previous collaborations on the side-project Noise Floor Delirium further demonstrate their versatility and dedication to crafting meaningful, genre-spanning music.
